I tried the suggestion to cut the top off reusable Keurig pod and water overflowed from the top of the unit and ran all over the floor. It did fit without the top but not worth the mess it makes as it ran down the outside of the fridge and puddled coffee on the floor. I don't recommend this but I had to try and was willing to deal with whatever mess it made. Won't be doing that again. Won't be using this feature either. It's just environmentally unfriendly to use those disposable pods. GE should try to be a better steward and make a reusable pod for these units. Thankfully it was not incentive to purchase this fridge, my builder made my selection for me. The water filter only lasts 6 months and is horribly expensive. I really am not pleased with this GE Profile fridge. I have no use for wifi on a fridge, which is what brings up the cost of the filter. Those features are just not worth their cost.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.so i just got this fridge and have some keurig 1.0 (purple ones from amazon) reusable kcups. I have simply cut off the top of the pod and it fits and the top closes (you can also buy it so it doesn't have a top). since both are dishwasher save it shouldn't be too hard to clean up if it makes a mess
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BEWARE! GE themselves acknowledges there is no reuasable one. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23113
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using a "PerfectPod EZ-Cup" ... not so perfect! coffee is forced out thru the sides and although it fits and works ... it is messy. It would have been nice if GE and Keurig got together on this and manufactured the size required for refillable pods. Maybe it was a "ploy" to force the sale of regular coffee pods! Shame on them!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, use any reusable without the top. Put foiled paper on the top to avoid the mess. It works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Has anyone found a reusable pod for this system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HI Dody- Thanks for your purchase! We're glad to have you in the GE Appliances Family. The refrigerator's Keurig brewing system is designed to work with single use K-Cup pods, and not reusable K-Cups. At this time, most (if not all) reusable pods on the market do not allow the brewer to close and lock properly. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
