• Unfortunately, it does not have a hot plate and the carafe is not stainless steel which prevents it from staying hot.

• Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us regarding our beautiful Café coffeemaker. There is no heater under the thermal carafe, so once the coffee is brewed, it will slowly lose heat. The coffee stays hot due to the vacuum seal thermal carafe. The thermal carafe retains the heat of the coffee for a minimum of 1 hour after brewing. We are glad you checked with us. Vikki@Café
