• Yes, actually bottom of carafe is cool after brewing. Coffee inside carafe is hot.

• Hello there - this is a wonderful question! Yes, the carafe is safe to set on your glass table after brewing. The coffee inside stays hot due to the vacuum seal thermal carafe - there is no heater under the thermal carafe, so you're fine setting it on your glass table. Roast on, Kelsey@Café
