QuestionHow do I adjust the temperature for the app? I see the grind time and the water adjustment but none for the temp.

At this time, the espresso machine’s temperature cannot be adjusted in the app. The unit has been designed to automatically brew at the optimal temperature for best flavor extraction. QuestionThe coffee machine stopped working, it heats up but when pushed the single or double buttons nothing happens, after a few seconds all the buttons start flashing. Tried to reset the machine but the problem persisted

- Answer This exact thing happened to me too! We fixed it along time ago but I unfortunately forgot exactly what we did. But what I do remember is that I used the user manual that came with the coffee machine to understand what the flashing lights meant. I believe it wanted us to clean the machines coffee bean grinder the reset the machine in a certain way. If you still have the user manual it will show you. Hope that helps

QuestionWhenever I grind the beans the grinds go everywhere. I’ve tried cleaning my grinder, but this didn’t fix the issue. I believe the grinder alignment is off on my machine. Is there any way to realign the grinder to eliminate the spray of grounds?

- Answer Hello, thank you so much or taking the time to reach out to us regarding this fantastic espresso machine. We're happy to help! Espresso is sensitive to bean selection and grind size. We recommend to start with a grind size of 7 to 9. Overly fine grounds may result in clogging and short shots. For this machine, use the coffee grinder to grind coffee beans only. We do not recommend you put coffee grounds in the espresso machine, only put whole coffee beans in the coffee bean container. We hope this helps! QuestionWhat does it mean if the light around the control knob is flashing? The manual says nothing about it. None of the other buttons work - they will light up temporarily and then go out.

QuestionI have a 54 mm bottomless portfilter and other customer accessories that are compatible with my Bambino plus. If I want to replace that with a cafe bellisimo can I use my 54mm portfilter and 53.3mm tamp?

- Answer We appreciate your interest in our excellent Cafe Bellissimo Espresso Machine. We recommend only using the included accessories to get the best performance. We have not tested any of the Bambino plus accessories and aren't able to affirm they work or recommend using them.

- Answer The grind light on your coffee maker sounds like it needs to be reset. Press and hold the Grind, Single and Double buttons together for 3 seconds to turn reset all programmable settings back to the factory settings. If this does not resolve the matter, please contact us at 1-800-430-1757 so we can assist you in the best way possible.

- Answer You could certainly use the Hot Water function on this espresso machine to make hot water for hot chocolate or use the Steam function to steam milk for hot chocolate. For more information on both of those functions, see page 11 of the Owner’s Manual (which can be viewed in the Features tab of the Best Buy product page).

QuestionThe grinder will not stop grinding beans until the whole hopper is empty. Even when I only press the grind button once this happens so I end up with a whole mound of ground coffee. I cannot stop the grinder even if the machine is shut off. Any solutions?

- Answer The grinder will not stop even if I press the grind button again to try to stop it. If I turn off the machine, the grind keeps going. The single shot is set for the lowest 9 seconds.

QuestionWhy does the Bellissimo only take 10 seconds to pull a shot where most websites say it should take 20-30 seconds? How big of a basket can this machine accept? I thinking of getting a 20 g basket for it?

- Answer Hello - Time is recorded from when the function starts to when espresso stops dispensing into cup. If time is below range, use a finer setting or larger water volume. If time is above range, use a coarser setting or lesser water volume. We don't offer other container sizes, and we only recommend using the container that comes with the unit. QuestionHello, is there a way to adjust the alignment of the grinder? Mine grinds off center and when grinding a double shot it makes a mess because of this. Thank you

QuestionCan we use heavy whipping cream in the milk frother?

- Answer Hi! Thanks for asking. We have not tested using heavy whipping cream and can’t speak to how well it may or may not work. It is not designed for heavy cream. If you decide to test it, we would certainly advise to err on the side of caution (as always with frothing), in case the heavy nature results in different air bubbles that could splatter. We'd also recommend you wash the frother with hot water thoroughly after usage to remove any residues of the heavy cream. Hope this is helpful! All the best. -Michael@Cafe

QuestionDoes the machine automatically pull the correct amount of water needed for the espresso? The machine I have now, you have to manually start/stop the water once the desired amount is reached. I'm looking for one that stops once the shot is brewed.

- Answer Yes, You can set the desired amount in the app and it will dispense that much every time unless you change it.
