• Yes you can. Be sure to order the High yeild or XL cartridge. choose “Black and White” in your printer dialog box. You will save ink.

• Not normally, No. Canon makes a convenient printer ink package with all necessary inks. If you prefer printing in only black ink there are solutions in printer selections that will fill that need.
