Sadly, you cannot print borderless (full bleed) photos or documents on this laser printer. Laser printers do not print all the way to the edge because it needs to be sure that any toner applied to the drum gets transferred to paper, otherwise it will accumulate and destroy the drum and/or fuser. Borderless printing requires going past the edge, even just a little, and this would create problems for laser printers. Inkjets can print off the edge of the paper because the extra ink lands on an absorbent strip and harmlessly dries up there. So, no borderless single or double sided prints.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, there are no borderless (full bleed) laser printers. If you are getting streaks, you may have an issue with the drum or toner. Print a page full of one color and see if it looks solid. Adjust the print quality to 1200 dpi also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From the small amount of experience I've had with this printer, I would say yes. It will print borderless. However I have not specifically done 2 sided borderless, but don't know why it wouldn't. There is specific photo paper for laserjet printers. The results have been good, if not great. These are not photo printers. Just keep that in mind. One interesting trick, which I have not tried myself, is after printing a photo image, if you see streaking, take a very soft cloth, dry, and gently wipe the picture. Sometimes the streaking will disappear. Not sure how that works, but I have seen clips of it being done. If you intend to do a fair amount of photo printing, I would definitely stick with the inkjet printers, my favorite being, oddly enough, Canon, but the higher end ones. Don't get a cheap one. Don't laugh! The Canon Pixma 922 is actually quite the photo printer! Yes they are SLOW and NOISY. I have heard and tried them. I would live with it to get the results. You can run it in silent mode, but it runs even slower. That being said, I like the silent mode.
