it would work perfect no adjustments needed!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this will fit the 7D. Expect a 3.5 lb lens which IMO adds to hand stability. This lends is not a push pull focal ranging but has a focus ring which is much easier as a dial. Stunning photos with superior bokeh can be expected. I hope this helps. The attached picture was captured in low light the other night using this lens from about 10 feet away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will work well. Most Canon lenses that start with "EF" will work with the 7D. It will also work well with a full frame sensor camera such as the 6D and 5D. If the lens starts with "EF-S" it will only fit cropped sensor cameras. That includes the Rebel line (T series) as well as the 7D, 77D, and 80D. An "EF-S" lens will not fit on a full frame sensor camera. The thing to remember with using a regular lens on a cropped sensor camera is that the length is multiplied by 1.6 to find the real focal length. Using a EF-f2.8L 70-200 will give you a realistic range of 112-320 mm. * Canon has a new camera system where these lens do not work. They are the "EF-M" series for mirrorless cameras. ANY Canon lens with an M in the description will not work on a DSLR camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is for Canon EOS DSLR cameras with APS-C sized sensors and an EF mount only.
