• I have had both and still have the 6D. Returned the 6D ii since it had focusing problems, even after calibrating lenses. I would recommend the 6D over 6Dii. EF lenses will fit on 6Dii not ef-s.

• yes ef full frame canon lenses work. But not the ef from crop sensors
