- Answer No, it is strictly black-and-white. You cannot use a color cartridge with it.

QuestionDoes the paper tray have to be left open in order to print? Or, can I load it, shut the paper tray and forget it ... thereby being ready to print anytime.

- Answer The tray canot be closed completely aligned with the printer. Yes, there is a cover of the paper tray to prevent form collecting dust, but you have to leave the tray protruding outward.
