Can you scan to email with this printer? null

In theory, yes, but good luck figuring out how to do it! The driver(s) /software for this printer is the worst I have ever used. I've had the printer a few weeks and am considering returning it b/c of how bad the scan software is. Also, be forewarned that the starter toner cartridges don't last very long and replacements are about $75/each x4.

I use scan to email with this printer. The only hiccup I ever have is on Google's end. Google resets the security settings for the account I set up for the printer. Since the printer is not considered a "secure device" by Google, you have to set the account up to allow less secure apps. This needs to be done periodically. (At least for me.) To be clear, you need to set up an email account for the printer to use for sending emails. I just made a gmail account specifically for my printer. It works great.

Its best to scan to a document then attach to an email, I use Photoshop as I have an older version of this printer. It will probably work with Windows Photo App but its all about installing WIA drivers, which run as the intermediary between the scanner and your application.

I would like to scan to email as well, I am having all sorts of trouble setting it up and getting it to work. Returning is a possibility here, too!

I have yet to figure this out and I've had the printer for a few weeks now. It shouldn't be this difficult, especially when that's one of the features that caused me to buy this printer. Everything else is ok so far, but this is a source of continued frustration!! If anyone figures out how to do this please provide how you did it...a thousand thank you's in advance! :-)
