From the Canon web site, write up on this printer, Rear Tray Supported Media Weight Plain Paper: 64 - 105 gsm OR Canon Paper: Max. approx. 275 gsm (Canon PP-301) OR Thicker Paper: approx. 115-250gsm I'm used to the xx lb bond description for paper but my wife - who makes cards - assures me this is the way her paper is described. (I bought a printer with a rear paper feed just for her heavy card stock.)
