• Yes, it will fax. I haven't set it up and probably will not unless I need it eventually. The initial setup to use this printer for my 2 laptops, phone, tablet and WiFi was easy. I think the fax setup would be easy as well. A nice touch is to print small 4x6 prints from my smart phone photos.

• I have not set mine up yet, buy if you have a land phone line old style or cable. It should work. I simply call Canon Support 1-844-462-9439 and they walk you through it and tell you how to adjust to the Cable settings. At least that is the way I set up my former Canon Maxify
