• A:Answer You have to buy the cable separately, that was a down side to getting this camera.

Q: QuestionWhere does the wrist strap attach to my new Canon ELPH 340?I have looked all over the camera and have no idea where to attach the wrist strap. The instruction booklet does not show any pictures or mention anything about it. I am at a loss for this. Any info from you would be greatly apprciated

• A:Answer Yes and no. It does not have them as options that can be accessed in the menu for selecting photo mode. The selector on top of the camera next to the shutter button has three settings, Auto, Creative Shot, and Hybrid Auto. Creative Shot will generate multiple versions of the same image with the typical creative effects/filters that have been available in other models.

Q: Questionreaction time and videoHi just wondering how quickly this camera turns on. For example if you're on a bus and see something as you drive buy, will it turn on right quick when you press power button? Also does the video feature stay in focus when you zoom in while recording or does it just get blurry? Thanks video very important to me

• A:Answer The camera can turn on very quickly. Just hit the button twice on the back of the phone, and it opens up directly with the camera app and snaps the picture. As for video, yes it does stay in focus when one zooms in.

• A:Answer We have used a gorilla which attaches at the bottom to the camera, then we use the delay timer after setting up the focus we want. Works well for us.

• A:Answer I believe my cord came with the camera. I know the previous canon versions came with the cord, so I can't say for sure if I use an old cord or new one.

• A:Answer Facebook - yes when you sync it will create a folder for the pictures it sends you can control who sees them and even add comments. Also when posting to facebook you can send single pictures or a group of them. In the book it says you can also share to Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Google Drive. I only use it to post to faceboom so can't comment about the others

Q: QuestionWhat are appropriate camera settings to upload and print?I recently uploaded a ton of pictures and when I went to view them on shutterfly they all looked blurry and said low resolution!!! What image aspect ratio and recording pixels should I have it set to? Also should it always be on Auto? What is the difference between aug and hybrid auto options on the top of the camera. HELP!
