- Answer The short answer is yes. Besides taking excellent photos, it can take excellent videos as well. Just make sure you have enough memory storage space if you plan to take a lot of videos.

QuestionDo you have to manually pop up the little flash thing at the very top in order for the integrated flash to work, or is there a secondary flash location?

- Answer The camera tells you when you need to use the flash. There is no other flash. The flash adds a lot of light and washes out the picture a little when shooting close up. You usually don't need it.

QuestionWhy can't I transfer my pictures with a USB connection? No software with camera!!I do not wish to us Wifi to transfer my pictures to my home pc. I have a Laptop and a home computer and I just want to be able to plug in my USB cord directly from my camera and load them directly into the computer of my choice. The camera did not come with any software and the computers do not recognize the camera using a USB connection. HELP!! I use this camera as an Appraiser and I assume I now have to either download software from Cannon or by a card reader if they still exist?? The camera is a Canon SX610 HS

- Answer I was able to plug it directly into my HP laptop, via the A/V Out Digital input on the side of the camera, and view the files. There was no download required.

QuestionI don't see a delete button the on back of the SX610. Is it easy to delete a photo you just took if you know it is a bad shot?
