Only if you purchase the adaptor. It won't work with the T8i by itself because those use an EF mount not an RF.

And the answers saying it would work if you used an adapter are leaving out the important truth that nobody makes an adapter to mount an RF lens onto a camera body with an EF/EF-S lens mount. I guess they rudely want you to waste time trying to find a nonexistent part (call me jaded: I attribute those responses to malice rather than simple ignorance).
