• A:Answer No, it only fits RF mount cameras such as the EOS R and RP. There is no RF to EF adapter and I do not think it would be physically possible to make one, although there is an EF to RF adapter.

• A:Answer Caps yes, but I don't think the lens hood is included (yes, I'm disappointed as the pictures imply the hood is included). That's according to the What's in the Box description for this lens. The pictures are deceiving as they show the lens hood with the lens (maybe BestBuy should update the pictures to avoid confusion?) The lens hood costs about $40 and product number is EW-78F. It doesn't look like Best Buy carries this accessory.

• A:Answer Yes, both use the RF lens mount. But bear in mind this lens is designed for full-frame sensor size cameras, whereas the R100 has an APS-C sensor. So it would behoove you to understand the consequences. Among other things, of course the effective focal length range will be 38.4 - 384 mm (assuming the crop factor of the R100 is 1.6, and I base that assumption on the fact that was the case for Canon's M series of APS-C cameras).
