• This lens is an RF mount that only works on Canon’s R series of cameras. For an 80D you’d want the EF 70-200.

• No sir. This lens is not backward compatible with EF mount bodies. Your Canon EF lens are compatible with Canon's latest mirrorless camera bodies, the EOS R, EOS RP and the soon-to-be-released EOS R5 and R6 by using an EF to RF adapter from Canon.
