"X" in this context means zoom. They are telling you it has 20X variable optical zoom plus "some other X" digital zoom, which is another way of saying, a short telephoto lens (that's the 20X part) plus an "X" digital zoom, also know as "a convenient and frustrating but super fast way to ruin your output." There are online converters to figure out what a 20x is, in relation to whatever telephoto lens you are accustomed to. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The maximum frame rate on the G70 is 60fps when shooting 1080p, or only 30fps at 4K. You mention "photographer" in your question though, which confuses me since when asking about frame rate I presume it's motion video you're using it for, ya, not still? To the person who answered noting it's an "auto" shutter -- incorrect. While this camera *can* run with auto-shutter, I typically run in manual and will lock the shutter where I want it based on the other settings and look I'm after.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If max frame rate is 60FPS then .05x @ 30FPS. You’re dealing with a video camera here, shutter speed is automatic unlike a DSLR.
