It may work with multiple users, however it does NOT work with multiple amazon accounts in the same house for one door opener

Once they accept the invite via email, install the myQ app, and create their own myQ account, they will have access to the same garage door that you invited them too with the ability to control it. No need for them to share the same login.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Any number of people can independently operate the opener if they have a MyQ account with password and the serial number to the opener. Start to finish: 1) the first person setting up an account in MyQ must enter the opener serial number. Once that's set up, anybody, of course, can sign in with that name and password and operate the opener. But it's better if different users have different accounts because the app tracks who opened the door, and when. The app can optionally push notifications to users of the status (open/closed) or activity (last opened/closed, by which account). 2) Others wanting to operate the opener can set up an account, with a password and the opener's serial number. Easier, someone with an account, password and access to a particular opener can be spared the trouble of entering the serial number if a person who already has the app with an account that has control over an opener sends the new person an "invitation". This "invitation" email invites another user to download the MyQ app and install it. Once that's done, the new person will see an "invitation" at the top of the app that identifies the particular door opener, and clicking on that, the second person can add that opener to their own account without having to type the serial number. (I assume this process also applies to any device that is interoperable with MyQ).
