Yes, perfect hard boiled. You can also do poached eggs. Works great and very easy to use.

It depends on the amount of water you put in, they can be soft, medium or hard.

It comes with a measuring cup for water and depends on what kind you want per certain amount of water

It can be hard boiled, medium or soft depending on how much water you put in. Your given a measuring cup and instructions. I tend to go medium with them because I prefer a softer texture. The thing works really well
