Yes and No. Yes you can but you have to spend alot of time on it,by moving it around on your mixing bowl since most boxed cake batters are thick and it needs to be “folded” in, so you’re better of using a spatula and mixing it by hand. This handheld immersion blender works best with “loose” and “liquidy” food items such as sauces and soups and making fruit shakes or smoothies, and NOT so much on cake batters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Would you miss these in an upright blender? If the answer is no, then this probably wouldn’t work either. This is a blender not a mixer (has blades) so I wouldn’t recommend it got cake mixing. But I’m No expert
