Is this a belgem or regular waffle iron null

This is a regular waffle maker. Easy to clean. I replaced a Belgem waffle maker with this one. It does a good job, easy to use.

Based on my understanding a "Belgian waffle" refers to both the mixture AND the geometry. You can put Belgian waffle mix in this machine and get delicious "Belgian" waffles. However, I believe that, geometrically speaking, a Belgian waffle has fewer, bigger divots. The difference is minimal. I own and use this waffle maker and I think it's great. Side note: I even use it for hash browns.
