We never preheat before we use it. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

No. Just insert food, set and turn on.

I don't think so. I've used it without preheating and the food is still cooked good. Sometimes I'll preheat and sometimes I don't preheat, it works well either way.

You should always preheat your Air Fryer, this helps with the cooking process for sure.

Just like a regular oven, you should preheat. It only takes 4 minutes!

well it's a deep fryer so you want to get your oil hot first, you don't want to put raw food in cold oil and then heat it up. it will come out a soggy mess.

I don't think so. I've used it without preheating and the food is still cooked good. Sometimes I'll preheat and sometimes I don't preheat, it works well either way.
