• Yes. Chromecast with Google TV supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz dual band Wi-Fi frequencies.

• It supports 2.4 & 5Ghz wifi frequencies. If you're talking about some sort of home 5G internet connection from a cellular company then yes, it would also support that since you would still be connecting it to a normal wifi router.
