• It says on the box it works with IOS. Initial setup might be a little easier with an android phone.

• Yes, the Chromecast with Google TV will work with your iOS devices just like the previous versions of the Chromecast. And for Mac OS devices such as your Apple Mac, you would need to have a Google Chrome browser to cast to your TV.
