• iRadar connects via BT to the dash cam. It has a map and alerts. In order to have navigation, you need to purchase the gps module. Waze does a better job IMO.

• iRadar is just an app you put on your phone that works with this Cobra dashcam. Without the iRadar app running on your smartphone and bluetoothed to your unit, you won't get GPS data. So you have to turn on the app each time you drive if you want GPS data embedded on your videos. And even then, your MPH won't be on the video itself - it's only seen with the HD Dash Cam program you download from the Cobra website. I have a couple of screenshots on my review with GPS data and without GPS data.
