Q: QuestionBro. The thing goes crazy with alerts, then doesn’t go off when a stationary speed checking station is zapping me!!? Also, didn’t go off a couple days ago when a cop was clearly zapping people with his radar gun? WTH am I doing wrong?

• A:Answer He may have been "zapping" others with a laser gun. Laser in most cases can't be detected unless its pointed directly at you.

• A:Answer It should only be in download mode when connected to a computer with a USB cord. The USB cord is only used to install firmware updates. To operate the detector normally, connect only the cigarette lighter adapter power cord.
