- Answer YES Yes My installer said he set the run time to 25 minutes, so it's adjustable. It doesn't mean you have to start it 25 minutes before driving. You could just start it 10 minutes before. This product also allowed me to use my original FOBS to start car, but can only work from short distance, the distance the fobs normally worked before install. Now I have 4 working remotes. You can keep the compustar remotes in house or office that are furthest distance, no need to carry with you. "One less thing"

- Answer I have this remote starter in both my 2016 Camry and 2019 Highlander. Both took under an hour to install each. Hope this helps but installation time can vary so prepare to be around for at least an hour. The Best Buy where I had my remote car starter installed at had a lot of shopping stores around so my family and I walked around until it was installed. Good luck and plan to do something else while you wait for the installation to be completed.

- Answer I recently had the compustar 4905S-KIT installed on my two cars, I asked the bestbuy technician the same question. His answered was that the work was done by bestbuy Mobile Electronics Certified Professionals (MECP) and there is the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act protects you from being denied warranty work on your vehicle. Hope this helps.

- Answer I bought this from my 2003 Lexus, the Box with the remote starts came separate from the T harness but both packages came in the mail to my house.

- Answer You will get 2 new key fobs. You can also (at least on my car) use the original factory fob. But to get the response signal--which is the purpose of a 2-way starter--you need to use the new key fob #1.

- Answer Yes it is included. Once you purchase the product they should email you to Schedule an appointment. Takes about 2-3 hrs so make some other plans to shop or have someone pick you up if you don’t want to wait.

- Answer Yes, you need you original key or KEYFOB to drive away. Same as you did before you had the remote starter. The remote starter DOES NOT REPLACE your original keyfob

- Answer I asked the tech that installed mine that same question and he said yes, both keys are necessary. Check on your particular vehicle though because he says not every vechile works the same way. I have a 2016 Mazda 6 for reference.
