• A:Answer The kit comes with everything you need to install on an AMD or Intel chip. It includes all the pieces and parts for a complete install. Although I bought a higher level of thermal paste in addition to what was in the package. I had a liquid cooling system that failed and bought this more as a test then a long term fix. After install (and the addition of an additional fan) it works as well if not better than the liquid cooler. I am very happy.

• A:Answer It will work with that cpu. I've just installed one on an I7 and given it a good workout. Stays nice and cool. As they are adaptable, even if you find you I9 getting too warm and opt for a liquid cooler, you can always put this aside, as it uses 120 mm fans fits anything just about. You can also run it with 2 120 mm fans, one sucking, the other blowing, for a nice flow through ventilation.

• A:Answer This version isnt explicitly compatible with the lga1700 socket type because it lacks a specific newer retaining bracket. HOWEVER!!! I was still able to install it on my girlfriends new gaming pc which uses an i5-12600k in a b660 chipset motherboard. I used the mounting hardware for the lga1200 socket type and, while i wouldnt say it felt the absolute sturdiest at first, it DID stay on and its making solid enough contact to keep her cpu under 60°C while playing games. I'd still recommend buying a cooler that has proper compatibility with the LGA1700 socket, but this cooler WILL work in a pinch.
