Q: QuestionIs this antenna ATSC 3.0 capable?

• A:Answer From what I’ve been reading, it’s the tv that will need to be ATSC 3.0 capable, not the antenna, or you’ll need to buy an external ATSC 3.0 tuner. The antennas will still function the same, but it’s expected that antenna manufacturers will use clever marketing to make people think they’ll need a new “ATSC 3.0” antenna.

• A:Answer I moved into a condominium located on a tree covered mountain. The original antenna that came with my tv worked fine where I used to live, but wasn't doing the job in my new location. I could only get 4 channels (3 of which I would never watch). When i unscrewed and removed the original antenna from the back of my tv, and screwed in the new Core Innovations Amplified Bar HDTV Indoor Antenna. and placed it next to a window, about 6' high and facing in the direction of the "tower" with a red light on top of it, in the distance, I was able to get 51 channels. A lot of the channels I won't watch, but my signal is definitely improved with the new antenna, and I now get most of the channels I usually watch. (p.s. I was told I might pick up a few more channels once some of the leaves thin out.) The antenna looks nice..people hardly notice it, and it is easy to install and shift around if need be. Read the instructions, there are some good tips worth noting.

Q: QuestionI've attempted to install this on 4 separate tv's and keep getting the same message on all of them. NO SIGNAL. The bar has 3 solid bars and isn't getting recognized by any of the tv's. Has anyone else had this issue ?

• A:Answer If your LG TV has a built in tuner, you use your remote to change channels. You will need to go in to your settings menu to scan for channels once you attach the antenna cable to the coaxial input on your TV. The antenna receives local Over The Air channels from the transmitting towers of your local channels. You receive the programming from those local networks. How well the antenna works depends on where and how far away those TV station transmitters are from where you live. Try looking up what channels are available to you on antennaweb.org. Just type in your zip code and it will give you a better idea of what is available in your area. This antenna is not going to receive channels that are exclusively cable/pay networks.
