“Does this have mic monitoring? As in, can you hear yourself through the headset when you speak? Manufacturer's really need to specify this because it's quite a make or break type of spec.”

To answer your question you have to put the microphone in your mouth for you to hear yourself but I can hear my voice just fine without mic monitoring. I have heard people say there side volume is locked at 25% but it seems they just need to reinstall drivers for it.
