It has an excellent mic -clear and natural, its sound quality is excellent as well, with it being a tad bit on the boomy side. Though you can use icue for your personal eq

You may need to grab a 3.5mm 4 pole splitter (female to 2 male)if your mic and headphone jacks are separate on your sound card because this comes with a single male 3.5mm 4 pole connection.
