• A:Answer Hi Andy, Yes, the COMMANDER CORE XT will work with your ASUS motherboard as long as it has a USB 2.0 header available. A SATA power connection from your PSU will also be required. This controller is designed for full functionality with our user-friendly iCUE software, which may be also control RGB lighting on various ASUS motherboards and GPUs. Q: QuestionSince my Corsair computer case holds 10 fans, does that mean I will have to buy 2 of these since the commander core XT only has 6 fan connectors? Next question is you have 4 types of fans: SP, QL, LL , and ML type. Which ones work with icue software?

Our iCUE software can support those fan types if you're looking at the RGB versions, SP, QL, LL and ML. Q: QuestionHow to make Core XT work with 8 non-RGB corsair fans and 2 non-RGB non-corsair fans? The 2 non-Corsair will not show up?

• A:Answer Turns out the 2 BeQuiet PWM fans are not supported. I tried a couple of other non-Corsair fans and the did work (both 3 and 4 pin). However another issue surfaced. The magnetic base can cause issues with PC shutting down if mounted behind motherboard plate. I had to move the Core Xt base to a different location to stop the issue, very strange.

Q: QuestionWill this work with the Corsair RS120 and RS140 fans? I've seen a few people say it won't because of the daisy chain feature.

• A:Answer All Corsair fans should be compatible with the commander core xt. Functionality in ICUE will vary depending on what features the fan has. I was using the SP120 fans with my commander core xt without any issues. Hardware Artisan has some excellent videos on Corsair fans on YouTube.

Q: QuestionI just bought a commander core to connect 6 LL120 fans. Only ports 1,2, and 3 have Rgb. I’ve checked all of the fans to make sure they work. I’ve seen online this is a common problem, but haven’t seen any solutions. Is there something I’m missing?
