“Why is this LED strip 3-pin when Corsair requires 4-pin? Does it come with a convertor?”

Hi CRH66, Our LED strips utilize a 3-pin RGB connector, while our RGB fans utilize a 4-pin RGB connector. An adapter is not included - if you do not already have a controller for these strips, please look at our LS100 Starter Kit, which includes one in the packaging. If you are planning to install our lighting strips inside a PC case, please refer to our COMMANDER CORE XT or Lighting Node PRO. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the four pins are for the fans which usually come with a 6 way Hub to connect to multiple fans. However the the powering for the LED functions for the fans or strips use the 3 pin off of a Corsair lighting module which connects to that same hub (with the four pins) but converts it from 4 to 3 pins.
