• Check to see if that laptop's motherboard is set up for DDR5. DDR4 has a different pin style, so they are not interchangeable.

• Hello, Please confirm with your specific laptop's latest QVL which should be able to be found direct on the HP site. Note that you may have to update to the latest bios as well. I don't see an issue, however. -Art
