Geek squad is almost completely useless. Yes, i can confirm that it works. I have the exact same RTX 4070 model. I isntalled 32gb next to the 16gb slot, making it a total of 48gb of ram
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Geek squad told me the opposite saying the -400 MHz would be made up with the 64 gb at 4800 rather than my 16 at 5200z. I’m guessing if you’re looking at this you might be running 4800 or even 5200 mhz for that matter I would suggest crucial at least that’s what HP said that crucial would be the only provider (Best Buy doesn’t carry. to provision that upgrade from 16-64 at the same speed. Really let down by Best Buy and don’t fault the geeks though they are just doing their job but too much time is elapsed so they would only give me in-store credit so I left with the switch back to the 16 or take the lag though I have had some significant gains from the ram increase.
