QuestionWhy is there a SSD PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe installed in this gaming pc what a let down. M.2_1 Source (From CPU) supports up to PCIe 4.0 x4 , supports 22110/2280/2260/2242 devices.so why put a 3.0 x4 in a 4.0 socket ? replacing as soon as possible.

- Answer I added a WD Black SN850x 4tb NVME ssd without any issues whatsoever. The MSI mobo has the quick slider to lock it in, so you don't even need to mess with screws or screw drivers in slots 3 or 4.

- Answer No, mine didn't contain any additional component cables. The only cable in the box was the psu outlet power cord.
