- Answer No, it doesn't appear compatible. iMac need SODIMM 260 pin RAM, this is SDRAM 284 Pin RAM. Both are DDR4, but that's all they have in common is similar speeds.

QuestionIs this compatible with the ASROCK Fatal1ty X370 Gaming X motherboard?

- Answer I'm not completely certain with this model, but I was _eventually_ able to install it on my ASROCK Fatal1ty X99X (which was not rated for 3200MHz). Do note, however, that it failed at first, so I had to update the motherboard firmware, clear the CMOS, install the new RAM, head into the BIOS, set the RAM to 3200MHz, and then save the settings and boot into the system. Hope this helps and good luck!

- Answer We should refer to your printed manual for the motherboard of your computer. There will be a section on adding memory that should have the memory specs and capacities allowed for the motherboard. Look on the manufacturers website for a pdf version of the motherboard manual. I expect hp.com/support or something similar, google helps here. The pdf document for your HP computer motherboard (mainboard) should have a secion for the RAM or perhaps a table with RAM requirements. We should location those for your motherboard and compare that to the RAM chip you found on Amazon. This is what I did when I shopped for a new motherboard, RAM, and NVME drive.
