ECC Ram is for Servers. All it is is error checking done in RAM. You will want none ECC for your purposes.

In fact, unless you plan running certain specific Intel or AMD CPUs and boards that can support ECC memory, unbuffered non-ECC DRAM is the only choice for most users. So, easy answer, you are good to go.
