I had the same issue, I bought 3 cricket sim cards from best buy and i wasn't able to activatethem So i called the best buy support team and had them activated But these sim cards again failed to activate and i have contacted cricket about this and they have told me these sim cards cannot be activated because they are old generation sim cards So try and replace them with new ones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SIM card bought directly in the store is working on Cricket. SIM card of bought online & ship to home is NOT working. They did not scan the card when ship out of warehouse. Same thing to the card of picked up in the store. The cashier in the store cannot check out the SIM for your pickup. They must cancel your online order, and then you re-buy it in the store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had similar experience when picking up the "Cricket Wireless - Bring Your Own Phone SIM Kit" in two of the Southern California Best Buy stores recently (2017 Sep). I ordered the SIM kit plus a prepaid minute card at BESTBUY.COM and selected store pickup. When I was at the first Best Buy store, their staff scanned the SIM kit several times but could not activate it, they then called their back office for support, but still could not solve the problem (system issue). So they told me to cancel the SIM kit item from my online order, and had me re-purchased a SIM kit in store instead (remember to ask them price match the online price). I noticed the first Best Buy store had to scan a different "Cricket Wireless - Bring Your Own Phone SIM Kit" to activate and release it. They said if they did not carry the extra "Cricket Wireless - Bring Your Own Phone SIM Kit", they would NOT be able to activate the SIM kit which was originally for my online order. This made me spent 1.5 hour at the store. 3 weeks later, I made a 2nd online order for the same SIM kit and prepaid minute card. When I was at the 2nd Best Buy store, same problem (Best Buy system would not let them activate the SIM kit in store). But this time, after the staff cancelled the SIM kit item from my 2nd online order, she was able to activate the same SIM kit which was originally for my online purchase. The staff also told me if I selected shipped to home, the SIM kit will be activated when shipping out (but the cost is higher if ship to home). This time, I spent 30 min in the store. I think you should bring the SIM kit back to the Best Buy store for a return, and then re-purchase it in store, but make sure they will price match it and activate it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take your SIM kit back to Best Buy store. Have them ring up the sale again so that they can scan your SIM kit. Then have them refund your original online purchase so you don't pay for it twice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not have this trouble. I think that BestBuy had scanned it when I picked it up.
