Regarding your query of the SSD, we would like to inform you that for part#CT500MX500SSD1 the cache size is of 512MB and also would like to inform you that SSD does not contain any mechanical moving parts to store the data. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure about cache size but this is not a "spinning" hard drive... so there is no RPM. It's solid-state so there are no moving parts. MUCH faster than a spinning disk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A solid state drive has dynamic cache buffering, and no moving parts. A hard drive has fixed cache buffering, and spinning platter(s). Usually SSD is 5x-10x faster vs. HDD in a given system.
