QuestionWhat is the turbo crisp crisper tray used for? no where in the pamphlet does it list what the use of this thing is.

- Answer I believe that there is some confusion here. The crisper tray is the metal part, with openings in it, that is suspended from the bottom of the basket. This allows for cooking, air circulation, and dripping of fat down into the basket, from which it can be poured out after cooking. The orange part (silicone, not rubber) allows for cooking something that you would NOT want to drip down to the basket, like eggs, while still providing a non-stick, easy clean surface,

- Answer Technically you can, but I wouldn't recommend it. An air fryer is essentialy a convection oven. Meaning it cooks food by circulating hot air around. This would make a very dry cake. You can wrap things in foil before placing them in, to lock in moisture, but I wouldn't reccomend baking a cake in it.

QuestionIs it supposed to make sound when running? When we first started the oven it made a loud sound like a fan blade hitting something, then we’re heating up some pizza and it’s super quiet now… no real sound at all.

- Answer If there is no sound whatsoever, chances are that the fan is not turning, which it is supposed to. If it is still under warranty, I would suggest you return it for exchange, credit or cash.

QuestionDoes this item have rubber feet for the tray inside to prevent it from coming out when turning it over? Essentially when I turn the basket over will the tray fall out?

- Answer The tray isn't coming out on its own. You really have to mash it to the bottom of the basket. Thankfully there is a nice center handle to get it back out.

- Answer The question is actually a bit more complex than what you stated, so the answere is as well. The problem with these basket-type air fryers is that you can really only cook one layer's worth of food at one time. More than that and you lose the speed advantage and may need to increase the temperature, plus you get irregular cooking results, which is only partly compensated for by tossing/flipping the contents.

- Answer This happened to me and I reset my gfi outlet and unplugged the crux from it. I plugged it back in and turned it on and everything worked like nothing happened.

- Answer Are you located in the US? Usually that means that the air fryer is plugged into an outlet higher than 120volts. Try it on another outlet of your home. It could be a faulty outlet or inorrect voltage.
