Technically you can, but I wouldn't recommend it. An air fryer is essentialy a convection oven. Meaning it cooks food by circulating hot air around. This would make a very dry cake. You can wrap things in foil before placing them in, to lock in moisture, but I wouldn't reccomend baking a cake in it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use the Martha White cupcake pouches combined with either of the Crux accessories; the nacho tray or the twin bread tins. Pouch is perfect size for two loaves or a nice square snack cake. Banana Nut, Lemon Poppy, and Blueberry are the best. 350deg for 15min I think a traditional cake mix would be too much unless you made two layers and cooked separately.
