A:Answer I guess it depends on what you think is a "good amount" but generally, I'd say "no". This is not an aerobic exerciser like a treadmill, stand-up elliptical or recumbent bike; however, it can give your legs a work-out if you use it for a long periods of time and put the tension up. I use it while working at my desk as doing something is so much better than sitting for long periods and doing no exercising.
