How does the clean system work? null

I always filled the tank with 1/2 distilled vinegar and 1/2 water, press the "clean" button and press the "on/off" button. It takes a while. It'll brew a little bit, then sit, then brew a little more, etc.... I also would run two brew cycles of plain water through afterwards just to get rid of any left over vinegar.
