Is it stainless steel on inside null

The front and rear surfaces of each slot appear to be stainless. The sides of the slots - directly behind the heating elements - appear to be sheeted with a high-temperature ceramic material. All-in-all, this is the most versatile and capable countertop toaster we have ever owned. We have had it for several months. We use it daily to toast bread, frozen toaster waffles or sliced English muffins. We are never disappointed.
