• The decanter is. The tray for the coffee filter and coffee comes off so that would be too. Hope this helps!

• The carafe, measuring spoon and cone-shaped coffee grounds holder are dishwasher safe. Water and white vinegar are useful for cleaning the entire unit. Flush out the unit with plain water at least two times afterwards or you'll be tasting the vinegar.
