The time doesn't run down until it has built up pressure. Then the timer will start. You can't program a start time for cooking to begin because the amount of time it takes to build up pressure depends on how much and what you have in the pot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you first start it it takes about 15 to 25 minutes to build pressure. The count down begins once the pot reaches max pressure. In the meantime it will stay on the time you set it until pressurized and then count down. Next time you try again time it and see. It depends on what you cook and if you fill it to max with food. Also always make sure you align the pressure valve to pressure. If it’s alinged with release pressure it will never pressurize and cook. It can be easily overlooked and accidentally moved when putting on the top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may have the steam release valve set to the release point - it needs to be on the other point where the pressure in the pot builds up and it cooks the food.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you have to choose settings pressure or some other settings then press start.
