Are the knives dishwasher safe? null

Cuisinart recommends hand washing

Washing knives in a dishwasher is never a good idea. These say dishwasher safe but recommend hand washing. It's the same with all good knives.

I told my daughter not to put them in the dishwasher but she does it anyway and they are just fine and still sharp

The insert does not say that you cannot place in the dishwasher. But, it says to hand wash for best results. Which is why I Am contemplating returning them. It’s too vague and I want a knife set that specifically states that it is dishwasher safe.
