“Every single time I pour the water it leaks down the side, what am I doing wrong? I’ve tried ever which way, even using a pitcher. Love the coffee but hate the mess!”

The problem is with the plastic band around the top of the carafe. The water/coffee gets under the band inside the pot and leaks out from the band on the outside of the pot when tipped, making a mess. I can't find a way to tighten the band.

Please try again later.I have found that not all of the water actually is being used when it makes coffee and some is being left in the reservoir = therefor when you go to add more water - even if it is the amount the pot hold it causes the reservoir to overfill and the extra water comes out of the overflow hole. I'm trying to figure out why water is left.
